Welcome to Pale Shadowed Knight, a club wholly dedicated to D the vampire hunter of the novel series Vampire Hunter D by Hideyuki Kikuchi. If you have any questions, please note the club and we will be happy to answer them. (Frost said we had to mention the movies so we'll do it right here between these two parenthesis)

Vampire Hunter D News

July 15, 2008

Sorry again for that big gap in updating. I started University in the fall semester, and that is why it keeps happening. I'll keep the club updated as often as I can though.

The Novels

Vampire Hunter D: Pale Fallen Angels is due to be released October 15th this year. This release will contain what was originally books one and two of Hideyuki Kikuchi's first four part Vampire Hunter D novel. The price will be higher than it is for normal books but then again it's kind of worth it.

The Manga

The third manga based on Demon Deathchase will be released on November 18th this year.

Appearances

This is where I give my apologies for not informing you all about Hideyuki Kikuchi and Saiko Takaki (the manga artist) being in LA for Anime Expo held earlier this month (please don't hurt me). I can inform you, however, that Hideyuki Kikuchi and Kevin Leahy (the translator of the novels to whom we all owe many thanks and praises) will both be at the New York Anime Festival September 26-28. I personally can't make it as I will (hopefully) have already been in New York in August to see the full solar eclipse that will be happening this year and I doubt I can afford to do both that and then go back for the convention. THEREFORE I am asking any member of the club who can or does make it to tell us about your experiences!

Also, if you went you went to Anime Expo and saw Hideyuki Kikuchi and/or Saiko Takaki the club would love to hear about that experience as well. Note the club and we can make a feature of it or just leave a comment telling us about your experiences.
